Skyrim
So Chad and I finally went out and got Skyrim for the Xbox. At first I was all like "No, you can't get it cause the other Elder Scrolls sucked you in and I can't lose my husband for two months." But then I was all, " O.O " So under the pretense that I was buying the game so I could RPG, we purchased it last Sunday. Chad was of course super bummed that I got to play first, but I did let him have a go after I stolen a decent amount of stuff. Oh, note: If you steal a horse, don't run away with it towards the city gates and then tell them you'd rather die then go to jail...

Go The F***k To Sleep, The Lullaby
I'm sure by now most of you have heard of the children's bedtime story book, "Go the Fuck to Sleep." If you haven't, you're in for a treat and, no please don't call social services, it's not actually meant to read to children, it's tongue and cheek. Ya know, for adults!! ....okay, maybe don't. Actually lots of peeps didn't get the joke. Just check out the review section for the book on amazon.com.
I first heard about the book on an NPR review and couldn't stop laughing, but I don't really feel like buying it since it really has only one joke...and I got it already. Maybe I'll give it another go when the kids start poppin' on out.
However, I love the new version of the King of Expletives himself, Samuel L. Jackson reading the audio version of our children's bedtime tale! And as if that weren't freaking awesome enough, someone has remixed it to song!

Disney Princesses
So I'm a chick, society therefore pretty much assumes that I've seen all the Disney Princess movies AND enjoyed most of them. In this case you'd be right, except for Pocahontas, that was just crap. So just like my husband likes to complain about all the amazing Star Wars toys that exist now I too am a little jealous of all the awesome Disney Princess merch. I mean, he can totally pull off playing with Star Wars Legos and light-sabers while it's somehow "wierd" when I go into the Disney store and want to find a Little Mermaid costume in my size. Come on!
So I've come to realize that I may have to learn to embrace my inner Disney princess in a new way and it seems others are cool with this too. Here is a feature from 9GAG asking the question: Happily Ever After?

Then there is an amazing artist at Deviant Art, Jeffrey Thomas who goes by jeftoon01 who has made an incredible series called "Twisted Princesses." Here is just a peek.
Pretty BAMF!!!
